Medical Insurance for the members of the NUPW.

The NUPW Insurance Agent Inc administers the medical insurance plan of the NUPW members. The plan, mostly referred to as Medicare, was around for over 30 years and currently has Sagicor Life Inc. as its insurance provider.  The plan has two (2) benefit levels classified as NUPW Platinum-Care and NUPW Gold-Care both of which offer comprehensive major medical coverages that include compensation for a wide range of medical services that include the following:

  3. Surgery & Hospitalization
  4. Diagnostic
  5. Preventative Care
  6. Maternity
  7. Therapy & Private Nursing
  8. International Medical Care
  9. Dental                      
  10. Vision

NUPW Platinum-Care Benefits 

  • Major Medical Benefits: $1,000,000.00: to Age 65
  • Major Medical Benefits: $500,000.00: Age 66 and up
  • Life Coverage: $25,000.00: Up to Age 65
  • Life Coverage: $10,000.00: Age 66-70
  • Life Coverage: $5,000.00: Age 70-80
  • Dental Annual Maximum $2,000.00
  • Vision Annual Maximum $750.00

NUPW Gold-Care Benefits

  • Major Medical Benefits: $500,000.00 to Age 65
  • Major Medical Benefits: $250,00.00 Age 66 and up
  • Life Coverage: $25,000.00: Up to Age 65
  • Life Coverage: $10,000.00: Age 66-70
  • Life Coverage: $5,000.00: Age 70-80
  • Dental Annual Maximum $1,500.00
  • Vision Annual Maximum $750.00

CLAIMS

  • You can submitted your claims by scanning the claims form(s) and receipt(s) to our email address groupmedical@nupwinsurance.com
  • Claims can be delivered to our office from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
  • Claims can also be placed in our Drop-box during the day or after hours until 5:30pm.

Sagicor Card

    • Your Group Medical Card facilities electronic payment at medical service providers.
    • Do take full advantage of this facility for instant claim settlement.
    • Please ensure that you travel with your card when seeking medical attention.

Claim Payment Options

      • Medical Cheque
      • Direct Credit Facility where claim payments will be made directly to your bank account. You can sign up at our office or complete the form online.
